Since I dorm, I did not get any financial aid left over for me and that affected me a lot. I did not have enough money for books at all. I was not able to complete a homework assignment because I did not have the book for the class. That 's not how I wanted to start my first semester of college. I wanted to start college strong and without any worries but I guess I am learning the hard way at the moment.
Low grades on test, quizzes, assignment and missing homework were my problem in the class. There was about two more weeks left of the term and had to finish my English work on top of living environment.

I missed on average about twenty to twenty five days of school per year. Due to my lack of attendence in SPH-I I failed the class. I was put into a Foundations For Writings class because I did not take my ACT score seriously and scored fairly low in the writing portion of it. I passed my Foundations class and took Composition 1 the following semester.
